Art of The Body Treatment (Hydrotherapy)

The Art of Body Treatment has been embraced for centuries across various cultures around the world. This practice focuses on achieving therapeutic health through a variety of non-medical techniques, including hot and cold therapies, which contribute to a harmonious state of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This course delves into the history of Hydrotherapy and its applications throughout the years. Participants will be instructed on how to effectively apply wet lymphatic boosting scrubs, detoxifying body clays, exfoliating dry brushing techniques, and body oils. In addition, we will cover body wrapping techniques designed to retain heat and improve the absorption of treatments along with sheet draping methods. In this body treatment training, participants will discover simple, yet effective hydrotherapy treatments paired with gentle massage to elevate the client's experience.
*PLEASE NOTE: This class provides practical experience, allowing you to both administer and receive full body treatments. Please come ready to participate in draping and to dress down to your comfort level.
